Our Story
Stacked Garage Door Services was founded by Jack Samson, who spent years as a service technician for one of Edmonton’s larger garage door companies before starting his own. That experience taught him the trade inside and out from repairs to installs, including every type of setup. But it also showed him what he didn’t want to build. At a bigger company, departments stop talking to each other. Salespeople, technicians, and the warehouse end up working against one another instead of for the customer, and the person who feels it is the one waiting on their garage door. Jack started Stacked to do it differently: a small company that stays small on purpose, where the technicians and the office are on the same page, and where every customer gets a real relationship, not a ticket number.
What Our Credentials Mean for You
Licensed, insured, and WCB covered isn’t just paperwork, it’s what makes us accountable. It means our work is warrantied and that we’ll be there if something needs a second look. It means our people are looked after if they’re hurt on the job. Our BBB accreditation means our reputation is a matter of public record. You can see the reviews for yourself. Trusted Trades Sherwood Park goes further still. It’s a higher bar than BBB: member companies that don’t hold up to the standard get removed, not just reviewed. Being part of it means you can count on us to pick up the phone, follow through on what we say, price the job transparently before we start, and stay on it until you’re satisfied. It also means we invest in our community, choosing to work with other local high quality businesses, as well as raise money for the Little Warriors Charity.
What We’re Proud Of
We love the transformations! The reaction from a homeowner after replacing an old, tired door and completely changing the look of a home is why we do it. And we take real pride in being the ones who show up fast when a door breaks at the worst possible time, getting most emergencies handled the same day or the day after.
